Resumen
El presente trabajo realiza una revisión de literatura acerca de la psicoterapia deorientación psicodinámica en el tratamiento integral de la esquizofrenia. Se revisan diversosestudios científicos que se ocupan de su efectividad, sus formas de intervención y el abordajeespecífico de dicho trastorno mental. Algunos de los estudios revisados comparan la eficaciadel tratamiento de la esquizofrenia desde diferentes modelos terapéuticos, encontrándoseevidencias favorables en los resultados terapéuticos que trae el abordaje psicodinámico de laesquizofrenia. Por último, se resalta la importancia del emplear abordajes terapéuticos parael tratamiento de la esquizofrenia, haciendo hincapié en el manejo con psicoterapia individuale intervenciones familiares.Abstract
The present paper carries out a review of literature regarding the use of psychodynamicpsychotherapy in the integral treatment of schizophrenia. Diverse scientificstudies are reviewed which discuss its effectiveness, forms of intervention and the specifichandling of this mental disorder. Some of the studies reviewed compare the efficacy of thetreatments for schizophrenia from different therapeutic models, finding favorable evidencein the therapeutic results produced by the psychodynamic approach to schizophrenia. Finally,the importance of employing therapeutic interventions in the treatment of schizophreniais highlighted, making special emphasis in the use of individual psychotherapy and familyinterventions.Páginas 69-83
